spent the weekend helping wil’s sister-in-law move house. they live very close by now, a 5 minute walk.

that’s the music-playing gazebo in the centre of the park – or plaza – in front of the church that marks the central point of Palmares as in probably every town in latin america.
not malls, but parks and churches are where people go to hang out, eat icecreams, gossip and people watch. Palmares park is particulary lovely with sloths, squirrels and big iguanas galore inhabiting it.
@loopdeloup - that is a really pretty building! the lizzards would be cool to watch – not too many of those around here – a few tiny skinks is all. this time of year, our ice cream consumption drops way off though!
