  • a study in pink

    my goodness, but it’s been a long time since I’ve come here to stay for a bit.

    sorry if it caused any vague wondering on the part of anyone who might have noticed.

    i DO follow my subscriptions by email. i guess my internet routine has changed, with my ship obsession, a browsing picture obsession (especially of ships), diverting my attention to TUMBLR

    and have done more private online writing on 750 words. sometimes.

    but my first and eternal internet love will always be Xanga, and I am sorry to have strayed so long.

    So here are some pictures, from this, probably the fastest year of my life…and getting faster….. all the time…..

    lucky i’m learning to type faster too!;

    Lily and Abuelita Nani. Lily is up there because she was planning to steal some peaches from the PRIEST’s GARDEN!!!

    naughty girl!

    Abuelita Nani and Bela, one week after her 15th birthday.

    but not quite as tall as she looks:

  • How did the girls get so grown up?

  • always good to hear from you and see some pix from your area – very nice, btw – kinda reminds me of some of the pix Jesse did when he was here using photo shop to paint my barn pink and my son’s jacket pink – lol. The priest should be willing to share his peaches – send some to me! peace, Al

  • Same here! I’m not here that much, but I do follow my e-mail subscriptions from Xanga. Your daughter is a lovely young lady now. How time flies by. Do you remember my son was in Costa Rica about 2 years ago on an international student volunteer program? Well he meet a lovely girl from Georgia she moved back to California. She is such a sweet girl my son ls lucky. Very romantic! Now my son has been accepted into a doctorate pharmacy program in Oregon at Pacific Universty. He still has fond memories of his time in Costa Rica. Our children are growing up so fast. Just thought I would share that with you. It’s funny how we seem to have such connections even though we have never met.

    Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos. The flowers are so beautiful like our children they bloom and bring us such joy!
